Giving back
Funds raised through corporate sponsorships and Beaufort Music Festival revenue help support our music outreach efforts throughout the community. Since 2017, Beaufort Arts & Music has contributed more than $145,000 to arts and music initiatives, with a strong focus on Carteret County schools and local youth.
Our outreach continues to grow through programs such as Music for Schools, along with initiatives like Music for Hope & Healing, which was created to provide music therapy opportunities for young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Supporting the Arts in Our Community
Our commitment to giving back also extends to the organizations and venues that help keep arts and music thriving on the Crystal Coast.
In 2024, Beaufort Arts & Music donated $10,000 to the Carteret Community Theatre to help preserve the historic venue, improve its performance equipment and support expanded year-round programming. Since then, we’ve continued that partnership by helping bring live music performances to the theatre and creating more opportunities for our community to experience great music throughout the year.
By investing in local arts organizations, schools and programs, we’re helping create more opportunities for young people, emerging talent and the community as a whole to experience and participate in the arts.
Music for Hope & Healing

In 2022, Beaufort Arts & Music donated $2,500 to Easterseals UCP EMPOWER Morehead City to support weekly music therapy sessions for adults with developmental disabilities.
The funding helped support instruments, adaptive equipment and specialized music therapy, creating meaningful opportunities for participants to express themselves, build connections and grow creatively and socially through music.
The partnership reflects an important part of our outreach mission: expanding access to music and supporting programs that use it to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people throughout our community. Support from Beaufort Music Festival fans, sponsors and partners makes efforts like these possible.
